Miami is led by Sheldon McClellan and Angel Rodriguez who combine for ~28 points per contest. McClellan is shooting better than 50% from the field on the season and has the ability to attack off the dribble and knock down the open shot.
As a team the Hurricanes shoot 43.5% from the field, average 68.5 points per game and record 33.9 rebounds per contest. Overall, Miami is a very balanced team under Head Coach Jim Larranaga. The Hurricanes are most effective in transition and will look to push the Hokies both on offense and defense.

Keys to the game:
- Take care of the basketball (limit turnovers).
- Offensively, play towards the basket and from inside-out (drive to the basket and kick it to the perimeter).
- Defensively, limit second chance opportunities by having all five players attack the glass.
