Zachariah Hoyt signed with Virginia Tech this morning after contemplating where he was going to play college ball. Hoyt was a late bloomer in the recruiting world, despite his 6-5, 275lb frame. He is a local product from Salem High School in Salem, Virginia.

Hoyt is listed as a Center prospect for Coach Stacy Searles and the Virginia Tech staff, but I could see him playing any of the 3 inside positions at the next level. He is also a player that could benefit from a Redshirt year and Coach Gentry's weightroom program. Overall, he is another physical lineman that I think will develop into a very productive player for Virginia Tech down the road.
Go Hokies!
