Spring practice has some pretty incredible stuff going on. There are depth charts being filled out, coaching adjustments, and then this: When Virginia Tech takes the field against Furman, it will be wearing quite a different piece of headgear.

This helmet is one of many Virginia Tech has rolled out in recent years. The response has been off the charts. From the sweet flat black "Combat" versus Boise St. a few years back, VT has definitely upped its uniform game.
96% of the voters on TSL's helmet poll like Tech's new helmet. http://t.co/rFovZMYDju #Hokies

There have been polls, brackets, and other forms of tournaments to decide what exactly is the best helmet for the Hokies. The important thing to remember from this helmet is that it is for Military Appreciation. There is not a Hokie among us that won't vote for that. Go Hokies!!!
