Come write for Gobbler Country!

If you love writing AND Virginia Tech sports, let's talk. Gobbler Country is looking to make sure it is fully staffed up for the football season, and is looking for both additional contributors, and a new blog manager, as David plans to retire to focus on school later this summer. You just might be the person we're looking for!

Contributors to Gobbler Country will be asked to regularly write (once or twice a week) on Virginia Tech athletic stories of their choosing. Maybe you're really into covering breaking news, or recruiting stories, or opinion columns, or helping cover a specific team beat. There's room for all of that, we just need folks who can be reliable and regular in their contributions to help the site grow.

Site Managers, in addition to regularly writing, will also schedule articles, help run the social media accounts, recruit and train new contributors, and decide what goes on the site. If you want to really take charge and make GC your own, this is for you! The Site Manager position is paid, and some contributor positions may be paid as well, depending on the time commitment.
