Emmanuel Belmar Jr. , 3* linebacker from Suwannee, Georgia, chose to commit to Virginia Tech earlier this afternoon.
Belmar has been high on the Hokies for quite awhile and was said to have been a longtime lean due to his connection with his primary recruiters Bud Foster and Torrian Gray. The 6-2, 220lbs linebacker has picked up a lot of interest recently, but felt comfortable in making his pledge to the Hokies and ending his recruitment. He chose the Hokies over Virginia, Syracuse, Colorado State and Old Dominion.
