This weekend the Virginia Tech football program is hosting nearly 100 high school prospects to campus for the annual July camp. However, this year the event has been stretched into two days with Saturday being a BBQ cookout event that is meant to show off the new practice facilities and Sunday being the actual camp. This might not be the biggest event the Hokies have ever hosted, in terms of numbers, but it sure is the most exciting to date. The BBQ is not only food and meet and greet, but a time in which the Hokies coaching staff can make an impression on some of their top targets in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 recruiting classes. Several names that are on commitment watch today for the Hokies include:

I believe that the Hokies will get some good news from 1-2, maybe 3 of these kids over the weekend. Like I mentioned earlier, there are over 100 kids expected on campus this weekend and as soon as we get news of any potential moves the folks here at GobblerCountry will let you know.
Go Hokies!
