Stud end Joey Bosa and several other Buckeyes will not be playing in Lane Stadium on Labor Day. Ohio State has stated that they are suspended for "violating Department of Athletics policy". The other players involved are Dontre Wilson, Corey Smith, and Jalin Marshall.
Huge news about #OhioState: star DL Joey Bosa, WRs Jalin Marshall, Dontre Wilson and Corey Smith all suspended for #Buckeyes opener at #VT.

It remains to be seen how this will truly affect a team who had no trouble winning a national title last year with a third string QB. Bosa is obviously the biggest name on this list, as some have projected him an early first round NFL player. Urban Meyer will have plenty to talk about, as Big 10 media days are underway as we speak. The timing is curious, but should make for an entertaining presser. This comes directly on the heels of the Buckeyes being voted #1 in the first USA Today Coaches Poll.

There is still plenty of time for both staffs to adjust, and Ohio State will be testing its seemingly endless depth. The Buckeyes will still be a double digit favorite, just like they were last year when facing the Hokies.
