It is only week 3 of the football season for the Virginia Tech Hokies, but basketball season is almost upon us. The Hokies Men's Basketball squad have started their individual workouts and are looking forward to getting year #2 under Williams underway.

The schedule was released several weeks ago and features several challenges early for the young, but much improved Hokies lineup. Several notable contests include tilts against Iowa State, Illinois/UAB, and West Virginia.

On the recruiting front Williams and Co. are looking to add one scholarship player in this recruiting cycle. There are several prospects who are high on the Hokies, but the most likely candidate is Khadim Sy.
Sy is a raw 6'9 forward who currently attends perennial high school power Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. He is a talented prospect that Williams and his staff are high on and would be a solid addition that would open up the opportunity to the recruiting pipeline at Oak Hill.
Go Hokies!
