Dadi Nicolas Has Strong Second Day At Senior Bowl

Cold Weather Didn't Stop Nicolas From Strutting His Stuff

Day 2 of the Senior Bowl started out cold and wet.  By the time the South took the field, the rain was gone, but temperatures never got much warmer.  After practicing in Fairhope, AL. yesterday, this was the first look the South had at Ladd-Peebles stadium.  A large crowd gathered to watch the South team which featured several members of the national champion Crimson Tide.  Dadi Nicolas had a good showing on day one, and continued his impressive performance into day 2.

During individual drills, Nicolas split reps between the line and linebacker groups. Most folks think that playing at OLB is a distinct possibility at the next level. It was on the team drills where Nicolas really shined. Nicolas had a "sack" on 'Bama QB Jake Coker yesterday, and again found himself face to face with the QB from Mobile today. He also got up close and personal with former Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott. I used the term "sack", because hitting a QB with the yellow jersey is a big no-no. You could see Nicolas visibly pull up when getting close to hitting these guys. I had a chance to chat with Dadi after practice. He said, "The only thing I had in my mind was to have a better day, and to continue to improve."

Nicolas has more interviews with teams tonight back at the hotel, and an early morning practice tomorrow.  Dadi seems to be focused and ready to make an impact in the N.F.L..
