It was a career high for Allen, who put up 26 in his last effort against Louisville. Zach LeDay finished one board shy of a double/double. He fouled out late in the contest, but had 12 points and 9 rebounds. Pittsburgh forward Sheldon Jeter led the Panthers with 23 points and 8 rebounds. The Hokies kept it close early, but Pittsburgh went on a 10-0 run midway through the first half. The Hokies never got close again, as the Panthers built on a 9 point halftime lead. It was the fourth straight loss for the Hokies, but the first blowout since losing to West Virginia 88-63 back in December.
