The No. 5 Virginia Tech Wrestling team continued their reign of terror by obliterating the No. 8 Michigan Wolverines, 24-11, this weekend at the 2016 National Duals Championship Series.
The National Duals were held at Ann Arbor and the Hokies did not disappoint.

The National Duals featured several individual ranked matchups, including some exciting rematches. No. 3 Joey Dance avenged last year’s loss to No. 20 Conor Youtsey, 11-9. No. 7 Jared Haught defeated No. 6 Max Huntley, 5-1. No. 3 Zach Epperly devastated Aaaron Calderon, 5-3. No. 5 Brascetta beat No. 13 Brian Murphy, 4-3. The Heavyweight match up was of particular excitement. For the third time in two seasons No. 3 Ty Walz met No. 4 Adam Coon. After an intense and close match Walz finally won, 3-2, and improved to 3-0 against Coon.
