Softball: VPI has had a rough start to the Softball season. Since opening the year with a victory over South Florida they have only managed to pull one more win. That win occurred earlier today when the Hokies defeated Morehead State, 8-0, in the first game of a double-header. Unfortunately, the second game of the day did not go so well. Ohio State defeated Virginia Tech, 0-13. The Hokies are currently sitting on a rather disappointing 2-9 overall record. This Saturday they will face another two teams, USC Upstate and Ohio State again.

Most recently the Hokies exercised the nuclear option and evaporated Radford, 17-2. Tomorrow Virginia Tech will face another in state rival when they travel to Norfolk and face Old Dominion.
