Kevin Sumlin's team just got better. Former Virginia Tech TE Kalvin Cline will be taking his talents to College Station. The 6'4" 237 pound Cline has announced plans to play for Texas A&M. This transfer announcement was handled just about as well as it possibly could be. Cline took to Instagram to give his thanks to Hokie nation, and to embrace his new school at the same time.
Couldn't be more thankful for my time at Virginia Tech. It's been an amazing 3 years and Hokie Nation has a special place in my heart. It was truly an honor to play for a legend like Frank Beamer and I wish nothing but the best for my teammates this up coming season. But after I graduate in May I will be finishing my last 2 years of eligibility at Texas A&M. Can't wait to do big things at College station and see the 12th man light up the stadium! Gig'em Aggies‼️
Thanks for everything Kalvin, and since we don't play you this year, Gobbler Country will be rooting for your future success.
