As we get closer to the season, some kickoff times are being announced. The much anticipated Virginia Tech debut in South Bend, Indiana will kickoff at 3:30 EST. NBC covers all Notre Dame home games, giving the Hokies a national viewing audience. It will be the first time the Hokies face the Irish. The game will played on Saturday, November 19. The date, being late in the season, should make weather a factor. There will be a ton of football played between the opening weekend and this game, so both teams should be in its groove.
Notre Dame comes off a 11-3 season where it finished 11th in the final A.P. poll. The Hokies finished with an Independence Bowl win over Tulsa, and a 7-6 overall mark. It will truly be a season of firsts for the Hokies, with Justin Fuente starting his first campaign as head coach.CONFIRMED#Hokies will kick at 3:30 pm ET vs. @NDFootball on 11/19.
