It was a catch. Most Hokie fans will immediately think of Michigan when you utter that phrase. The 2016/17 men's basketball team will have a chance for some payback. The Wolverines dropped the Hokies after WR Danny Coale's catch was ruled incomplete, and most of Hokie nation hasn't gotten over it. The Hokies will face Michigan in the 2016 ACC-Big 10 Challenge. The matchup is one of several that will pit A.C.C. clubs versus the Big 10.
Expectations are high for both clubs entering the 2016 campaign. Buzz Williams led the Hokies to a 20-15 mark in 2016. With almost the entire roster returning, the Hokies are poised for a breakout season. This is the type of non-conference game that Virginia Tech could use to boost its post season resume. The Hokies have a 1-4 lifetime record against the Wolverines in basketball.
