After a tough 2015/16 campaign, the men's soccer program looks to rebound next season. The Hokies finished 5-9-3 overall, and a disappointing 2-5-1 at home. The highlight last year for the Hokies, was battling #7 Notre Dame to a 0-0 double overtime tie. The Hokies also beat #10 Xavier early in the season. The men's club plays its home games at Thompson Field, and really needs to start fast next season.

Head coach Michael Brizendine has a young team returning. The roster is a mix of international, and local talent. The first home game for the Hokies is a 9/2 matchup against the South Florida Bulls. Key A.C.C. matchups include Clemson on 9/23, and Duke on 10/7. The Hokies' soccer team season coincides with the "other" football team, but let's get out to Thompson Field and support our Hokies!
