There is no more polarizing person in Virginia Tech history than Michael Vick. Vick burst on the scene as a redshirt freshman in 1999, to lead the Hokies to their only national championship game appearance. Vick was the most electrifying player I have ever seen play college football. He was seemingly impossible to catch, and had the biggest arm to ever grace Lane Stadium. He was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the number one pick, and the sky was the limit for Vick. When he led the Falcons to the playoffs, it seemed it was only a matter of time before Vick would have a Super Bowl ring.
In one of the most dramatic falls from grace in sports, Michael Vick ended up in prison. Bleacher Report has produced a documentary chronicling the entire journey, and will premier on their website bleacherreport.com on July 11, 2016. We will review the film in a later post, and can't wait to see the film. Below is the trailer for "Vick".
