In what might be the least surprising expectation of the 2016 college football season, the officials of the Battle at Bristol believe that Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, and the rest of the College GameDay gang will be present for the largest college football game in history.
The game itself is slated for a prime time kickoff and to be televised on ABC. Kenny Chesney and The Band Perry will be providing a star studded concert prior to the September 9th face off. Bruce Smith and Peyton Manning will be participating in the coin toss for the game. Not to mention that this will be the prime time debut of the top coaching prospect of the off season, Virginia Tech's new head coach, Justin Fuente.
But... there has not been any official statement communicating College Gameday's intentions for week two. Let us communicate our desires to the powers that be. Here are the twitter handles for the hosts, ESPN, and College GameDay. Attack! Use #GameDayAtBristol and share your desire to have College GameDay at another Virginia Tech Hokies spectacle!
