Justin Fuente hosted a football camp this weekend, and the offers are starting to come out. Greensboro Sports is reporting that the Hokies have made an offer to Greensboro native, D.J. Crossen. Crossen is listed as a safety, linebacker, and corner for Dudley High School. Crossen is due to graduate in 2018, so this move is bold for Virginia Tech to offer so early. Other schools have their eye on Crossen, including East Carolina. The Pirates offered Crossen on April, 28. Crossen is 6'2", 180 and has big potential.

We should hear some more offers, originating from this camp, over the next few days. Gobbler Country will keep you posted as Coach Fuente and team start building on the 2017 & 2018 recruiting classes.

The kid seems genuinely excited to join Hokie Nation, and we look forward to seeing him very soon!
