Virginia Tech Football Safety, Chuck Clark, On Bednarik Watch List

Award honors outstanding defensive player of the year.

Senior Chuck Clark is turning some heads.  Clark was named to the Bednarik Watch list, which is a huge preseason honor.  The Bednarik Award goes to college football's most outstanding defensive player.  Previous winners include Aaron Donald, Manti Te'o, and Tyrann Mathieu.  Clark is 6'1" 204, and started 12 games for the Hokies in 2015. He recorded 107 tackles and 1 sack.  He picked off 1 pass, and broke up 8 others.  Clark is a big hitter from his free safety spot, and looks to have a monster 2016.  Here are his career stats at Virginia Tech:
