The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has released their preseason top 25 for the women's 2016 competition
The NSCAA has ranked the Virginia Tech Hokies as the No. 17 women's soccer team in the nation.
The ACC top 25 rankings are as follows.
1. Florida State Seminoles
3. Duke Blue Devils
4. Virginia Cavaliers
9. North Carolina Tar Heels
13. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
14. Clemson Tigers
17. Virginia Tech Hokies
It is quite the testament to the obscene capabilities of the ACC when one considers that the Hokies are expected to be the No. 7 team in the ACC, but rank No. 17 in the National poll. In general, the Hokies have a rather challenging schedule, which can be viewed here.
The Virginia Tech Hokies Women's Soccer Team begins play today, during an exhibition game, against Miami University. Gobbler Country wishes the women's VPI soccer team the best of luck! Go Hokies!
