Tim Settle is a big man. In Virginia Tech’s media guide, Settle is listed at 6’3, 344. This year, the Hokies are honoring Coach Beamer with a special number. That number is 25, and when the Hokies take the field on Saturday, Tim Settle will be sporting it.
Proud to announce that @tim_settle will be wearing 2️⃣5️⃣ this Saturday!! #BeamerBall pic.twitter.com/vYg28QCGt1

This is a huge honor for any Hokie, and Settle should represent it well. Personally, I would like to see the big man punt. That would be an interesting visual. Settle isn’t only big, he is a true athlete. Earlier this season, Settle demonstrated his unique skill set, including unbelievable speed.

Settle has been seeing decent run on the D-line so far this year. It’s cool to see the r-FR get some notice from the staff. Settle is that type of player you want on the field all the time. Full disclosure, Gobbler Country was lobbying for Settle NOT to be shirted last year. Congratulations Tim!
