The Virginia Tech 2017 football schedule got set today. The Hokies open up with four non conference games before opening up A.C.C. play. The Hokies first will travel to Landover, MD and face long time rival West Virginia. The battle for the Black Diamond trophy will be played at FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins. The Hokies will then host Delaware at Lane Stadium. In week 3, the Hokies will face an always tricky East Carolina club, before wrapping up the non-con slate by hosting Old Dominion. The home schedule sledding gets much tougher as defending champion, Clemson comes to town. The Hokies first A.C.C. road test will be at B.C. right before the bye week.
The end of the schedule is tough as well with trips to Miami and rival Virginia.
