Virginia Tech was not holding their breath on Selection Sunday, as it was all but official that they would be going dancing for the first time in a decade. But that did not stop the team and the fans, who packed themselves inside Cassell Coliseum, to cheer with excitement when the bracket revealed that the Hokies would take on Wisconsin in the first round of the NCAA tournament as the No. 9 seed in the East Region.
And the nine seed headed to Buffalo.....

The East Region is chock-full of good teams. In addition to the Badgers and Hokies, the region also includes defending champs Villanova, UVA, Florida, and Duke.
