Fresh off an N.C.A.A. tourney appearance, the Virginia Tech basketball stock is rising. Buzz Williams has proven he can turn the program around, they keep inking starry recruits, and the Cassell is getting a well deserved update. Twitter accounts were abuzz with some leaked photos of the new paint job on the Hokies’ home court.

The premium seats are getting an upgrade according to Ricky LaBlue, and the court will be featuring some familiar sights from campus. Here is another view from another twitter spy:
1️⃣ of the coolest projects I've ever been a part of #Hokies #getBETTER#TheFamily pic.twitter.com/Be94ntu0dK

We can’t wait to see the finished project. The Hokies had a brutal draw for the first round last year. Wisconsin proved they were just a notch above the Hokies, but the guys fought hard. With all the momentum in the program, it’s great to see the school putting more resources into sprucing up the aging Cassell. I’m interested to see how realistic they portray Hokie Stone on the court itself.
