The Virginia Tech Hokies women’s soccer team start the regular season.
This past weekend VT opened their season down in Southern California at the University of San Diego Tournament. The Hokies first faced San Diego and beat them 1-0. The next day VPI played Perpperdine to a 1-1 tie. Virginia Tech will host the College of Charleston this Friday in Blacksburg.

Georgia Tech Dismisses Starting RB, Dedrick Mills.
The Yellow Jackets have removed Mills from the team after multiple violations of team rules. Dedrick Mills filled the very important position of the B-Back in Paul Johnson’s triple-option. Last year GT defeated VT, 20-30, but Mills wasn’t playing during that game due to suspension. The Hokies will travel to Georgia and face the Jackets on November 11.
