Every week the fine folks at www.Bovada.lv email me the latest Heisman Trophy odds, and more importantly, the national championship odds. At the end of week two, Virginia Tech was at 33-1. They were ahead of teams like Miami, Notre Dame, Auburn, and some other college blue bloods. This was before some of the mentioned teams lost a game. This week, the Hokies were downgraded to 40-1. I’m not too sure why they dropped, but the wise men in the desert use a model that factors schedule highly in the formula. The current favorites are, you guessed it, Alabama. They are currently listed at 2-1.
The A.C.C. is represented on the list at number two with Clemson. Clemson enters week four at 11-2. Louisville took a huge drop after the Clemson loss. They went from 25-1, all the way to 100-1. Here is the complete list from the folks at Bovada.lv
