ESPN’s College GameDay Set to Visit Blacksburg

The show that everyone watches as a college Saturday primer will be here for Clemson.

Finally.

After 10 years, No. 13 Virginia Tech will once again host ESPN’s College GameDay crew ahead of Saturday’s showdown against No. 2 Clemson.

Given the slate of games for the upcoming week, it was assumed that GameDay would more likely than not be in Blacksburg for the upcoming weekend. Last week, the game was moved to an 8 p.m. kickoff, suggesting that something big was in the works. Both the Hokies and the defending National Champions are 4-0, ranked in the top 13, and the game will serve as a rematch of last year’s ACC Championship game, where the Hokies’ comeback effort was thwarted by a late-game interception.

No. 2 Clemson recently visited Louisville, who was also featured on GameDay. The Tigers thrashed the Cardinals 47-21 in a game that was over at the end of the first half. The Hokies will look to avoid the same outcome.

Gobbler Country will have you covered for the Hokies’ biggest home game since 2015.

Anybody got any good sign ideas?
