It was always going to be a big game. Clemson at Virginia Tech. Now that both clubs are undefeated, the stage gets that much bigger. Virginia Tech has but one quality win: West Virginia. Clemson has a solid road win at Louisville. They also defeated the Auburn Tigers. These two teams are no strangers. They met in the A.C.C. championship game last season. Clemson was supposed to be there, Virginia Tech not so much. Clemson held on for a 42-35 win in that game, but the Hokies were there to the bitter end.

The teams share some historical history. In 1956, the 13th ranked Tigers hosted the #15 Virginia Tech Hokies. It was the first time ever that Virginia Tech played in a game that both teams were ranked. Overall, Clemson holds a 21-12-1 advantage. They are currently on a four game winning streak against the Hokies. All time, the Hokies have a .610 winning percentage. That is slightly better than Clemson, who has posted a .608 percentage since the inception of the program.

Stay tuned @gobblercountry as we gear up for one of the biggest game weeks in recent memory!
