Frank Beamer MUST Be the Guest Picker On Gameday!

It’s been official for a couple days now. College Gameday is coming to Blacksburg. That being said, one thing needs to take place. We need Coach Beamer to be the honorary guest picker on the last segment of Gameday. It makes sense. There is no bigger celebrity in Virginia than Beams. I generally don’t factor that school up north in my takes (Boise St. beatdown nonetheless). I have but one wish to make the Gameday celebration complete: Coach Beamer. This is the man that started it all, and what better way to complete the bridge to the Fuente era? Twitter agrees with me:

It would be a perfect closure for the guy that brought Gameday to Blacksburg to begin with. The only potential issue would be Beamer’s current part time job. He is on college football selection committee. Would the committee consider this a conflict of interest? Don’t know, don’t care. #GameDayForFrank
