Virginia Tech football : Uniform Reveal For Clemson

The big news out of Blacksburg today was the revelation of what the Virginia Tech Hokies will be wearing when they face the Clemson Tigers. The announcement came via the @HokiesFB twitter account:

In three short words: ALL MAROON EVERYTHING. We ran a poll at Gobbler Country, and the consensus was 65% (over 400 votes) for traditional. I think this fits the bill nicely. If you think back to A.C.C. media days, coach Justin Fuente still wasn’t over the loss to Clemson in the championship game. It’s no coincidence that the Hokies will be wearing the same color scheme as they did that night in Orlando. We have already mentioned that over 100 perspective student athletes will be in attendance at Lane Stadium. I like the fact that they will be seeing the true uniform of the school on the biggest stage. We have opined about the value of a one off special uni in the past, but when the rubber meets the road, it’s Chicago Maroon.
