Virginia Tech Hokies Men’s Basketball Gets a Preseason Ranking

Well now, when you’re home and available to get an immediate story out, the Basketball people decide to release their poll on a Monday when all of us are working. Virginia Tech finds itself at #15 in the AP Preseason Men’s Basketball Poll.

The AP Men’s Basketball Preseason Poll was released at noon today, and surprise of surprises the Hokies netted 630 votes for a cool #15.

Somehow the recognition is interesting, I don’t remember any rankings this high this early since the mid-90’s.

Jawhar will be going into the gory details tomorrow. But for now we don’t know if this is cool, or nervous time.

There is often comfort in the peloton. #15 is some rare air.
