It’s been a couple of days since we last checked in. The Hokies are preparing for Homecoming, and there will be some serious game faces on for a while. Right now, though the Hokie sporting events are converting from the Fall to Winter sports, and that’s good. News is news so we’ll go through what we have.
Hokie Soccer
Men’s
The Men’s Soccer Team advanced to the second round of the ACC Tournament by pushing three goals across the line against the Syracuse Orange. The Orange only managed one, so that has generally meant that the Hokies Won!

The 2nd round is a tough one against UNC in Chapel Hill. Didn’t we just do that?

Hokie Basketball
Men’s
For some reason, Chris Clarke is no longer with the team. Nothing more was said. This was particularly stunning because he was high on Buzz Williams’s list, and made the ACC Basketball Media Day event for the team.

Volleyball
The Volleyball team had a match this evening in Cassell. Unfortuntely they dropped 3 sets to the Syracuse Orange just before this article was assembled.
Match day!

Hokie Football
It’s Homecoming, and it’s also a rivalry match up against a much invigorated and improved Boston College squad. The 2016 blowout at Lane, and the 2017 loss to us in Chestnut Hill are leaving a sour taste. It’s going to be a tough game. With lots going on in Blacksburg in the morning and afternoon.
