A View from the Sideline: Virginia Tech Hokie 2018 Spring Game
So, what was the scene for the 2018 Spring Game. The weather was near perfect at 75 degrees and only sparsely cloudy. There was a good breeze blowing that cooled things off a bit, and that got lots of Hokies visiting for Family Weekend interested in capping Saturday Afternoon with something fun.
The Jumbotron was on and Lane was quiet at 1:30.

Blacksburg was really busy on Saturday morning (April 14th). There was the morning 3.2 mile Run for Remembrance, and official tailgate tents were scattered over Washington Street and the old Pritchard Prairie. Joshua and I had to walk in from Kent Street and Washington because Beamer was closed. Everything else on campus was a mess, too, so the familial transportation dropped us there.

Lane looked pretty empty from the Press Box, but people were filtering in. No one was really out practicing other than the kickers.

Oscar Bradburn came out wearing a helmet. Not a bad idea, the sound and field of view is different when you’re wearing one.
