Virginia Tech’s annual fan appreciation day will take place on August 26 at the Hokies’ indoor practice facility. This is just one week before the Hokies open the 2018 season at Florida State.

Fan appreciation begins at 3:15 for the general public and has free admission. Parking, too, is free. The event will run until 4:30 p.m. and fans will have the opportunity get autographs from players and coaches for just over an hour. There will also be events set up for the kids. More details on the event will be released as it gets closer.

This is a great event for fans to get up close and personal with the players and staff. And it’s also a smart way for the university to encourage fans to buy season tickets.

If you are in the area and able to make it out, I would encourage you to do so as this is a fun event before the season starts and the only access to players and coaches that fans really get, especially in the season.
