This game is not a complete given. Tech should do well, but this one is not all about the ‘W’. Tidewater is a prime in-state recruiting territory. It’s also the home to a whole lot of Hokies from the other sports and academic worlds, not just football players.

This is going to be a real challenge in all three phases of the game, with the coaching staff looking to get snaps in for a range of players. Look for lots of Freshmen and Redshirt Freshman. This is a game for the future.
