The big 1st Commonwealth Clash between the #21 Hokies and the #10 Wahoos of Hooville ended in a 1 - 1 tie. Of course it was a “kissing your sister” sort of event, but given the double overtime played, and the fact that the underdog Hokies blanked the Hoos in the 2nd half and both OT periods was a victory of sorts.

Friday is uniform announcement. Looks like Matte White helmets with the glossy racing stripes, maroon jerseys and white pants. Hope they are water proof, maybe lightning proof, too. Going to be wet down there!
Congratulations to Eric Kumah for being awarded the #25 for this game. I bet this was a really difficult choice.

Hokies in the Pros
Tyrod was elected a Captain for the Cleveland Browns, natch. Good Luck Tyrod, but not too much because you are up against Terrell and my Steelers.
Humbled to be selected as a 2018 season team captain and help lead such a hungry group of guys! Let’s go @Browns pic.twitter.com/mPBNwzyfbi

So that’s this evening. Waiting, sorting out rain gear, and hoping for just rain and no “fireworks”. Except, the Skipper going off repeatedly and often.
