Track and Field

At 32.49 seconds, Jacory Patterson, set the second fastest NCAA Men’s Indoor 300 meter time EVER! This time is also good for being the world record for an under 20-year old. Congratulations to the freshmen runner!

Football

Virginia Tech Quarterback, Quincy Patterson, updated his Twitter (@quincy_qb1) profile picture, highlighting his exciting future with the Hokies.

Trevon Hill, who was dismissed from the VT football squad shortly after the Hokies’ ignominious loss to Old Dominion, posted a long statement on Twitter regarding his dismissal.

NFL

Kendall Fuller and the Kansas City Chiefs devastated the Indianapolis Colts, 31-13, this past weekend. Best of luck against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots during the AFC Championship!

Women’s Basketball

Since entering their conference schedule the women of Virginia Tech have struggled, dropping three straight against Miami-Florida, Syracuse, and Virginia. The games have been close. All deficits have been six points or less, including an overtime loss to No. 14 Syracuse. After starting the season 13-0, VT has dropped to 13-3 overall and 0-3 conference. Life remains complicated this Wednesday when the Hokies host No. 1 Notre Dame. Looks like a great opportunity to redeem the three game slide!

GO HOKIES!!!
