NFL

Cody Grimm, who has been working as a Virginia Tech Hokies assistant coach over the last two seasons, has been hired to work with another former Hokie, Bruce Arians! Mr. Arians recently came out of retirement to become the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cody was drafted by the Bucs in 2010 and spent a few years playing for them before recurring injuries cut his professional career short. Congratulations Mr. Grimm and best of luck at your new opportunity!

Women’s Basketball

Kenny Brooks and the women of Virginia Tech are still looking for their first conference victory after a 70-61 overtime loss to No. 8 N.C. State Wolfpack. Their next chance is this Thursday when they host North Carolina.

Lacrosse

We are just over two weeks away from the start of the lacrosse season. Last year was the best performance of the program’s history, and they will look to improve in 2019! Their efforts start February 9 against Bucknell!

Softball

Another spring sport that is just around the corner is softball! The 2018 season finished 23-30 and is something to improve upon. The season opens on February 8 against Wichita State during the Cougar Classic hosted in Charleston, SC. Check out the team’s new uniforms in the video below!

GO HOKIES!!!
