So, for the second week, Alabama tops the poll with Clemson pulling up behind, followed closely by Ohio State (and Buckeye Boosters are boosting away aggressively lobbying for a #1 ranking.)

So with that boredom out of the way, let’s look at the winner of the completely arbitrary choice of the best game (they never gave us a choice for “Any team Beating UVA”.

I suppose that’s a fair choice, and my choice which was Florida vs. LSU might be a problematic one given the loss of their starting quarterback in the last game. Will he return? And the Gators were way better with him than with Franks. So.... That drama might have picked that game up to #2.
For us, it’s the confidence graph that makes the voting worth while. Again, a win salves some wounds, but still the world is a tad bit shaky.

Are there a few folks in Hokie Nation who see some light at the end of the tunnel; and don’t think that it’s an oncoming train?
Next week we play what is supposed to be a non-conference, non-count for anything game against Rhode Island. I think that it’s going to count for this team, that’s for sure.
