It’s time to check in on how the Virginia Tech Men’s Basketball fans are feeling about the program. Each week SB Nation’s Fan Pulse survey polls the fans to get their opinion on their confidence levels for both the football and men’s basketball teams, in addition to Top 25 CFB and playoff opinions. After a 23 point win over Lehigh and the third over non-conference opponents at home this year, how did fans respond?

Week 3 Restores the Faith

After dipping slightly between the first two weeks of the season, all of the Virginia Tech voters seem on board with Mike Young’s program now. Lehigh proved to be a strong test in the opening half in Blacksburg this past Saturday, before the Hokies pulled away in the second period.

Now 4-0 on the season and getting contributions from a variety of players, Tech fans are feeling good about the start of the new coaches era. They got even better news Monday when the Hokies signed two highly talented guards for next year’s class.

As you would expect, next week’s big opponent, Michigan State, has maintained a 100% confidence rating since the start of the season. The Spartans are one of the favorites to challenge for the national championship this year and will be a massive test for the Hokies in Hawaii.
