Bryan and John are joined by Joshua to discuss Virginia Tech Hokie recruiting and what happened over the last 20 years along with going over the realities of the late aughts drop-off, and some of the greater issues of Tech recruiting in general.

Why are we doing this special series, now? Well, Early Signing Day is December 18th, and we really wanted you to have a perspective on what this recruiting class is, why it’s where it is, and what got us here in the first place.

Tech only has five seniors departing, and there were a few in the transfer portal which means there are probably going to be fewer than 10 scholarships available to award incoming players.

There has already been a graduate transfer commitment, so that number will drop.

The second podcast of the recruiting series will be up in the next day or two. We like to make them quicker, but this is too important a topic to just glance over with sound bites. So please grab some time and listen in.
