The EADA 2017-18 report is out, and every ACC school showed a revenue increase. Florida State had the biggest jump, which included Jimbo Fisher's buyout and may have included some one-time donations for facilities as well - but I figure it's actually the lowest-revenue schools which tell the story here.
From "Thoughts on the 2018 EADA Revenue Increase", just a little observation...
despite losing $1.8M in Orange Bowl revenue this fiscal year, the lowest-revenue schools (namely Syracuse, NC State, BC and Wake Forest) all enjoyed revenue increases of around $3 million.
and if we combine that with another statement...
Florida State athletics director Stan Wilcox said the ACC’s revised television deal will deliver an increased payout of $3 million in the 2017-18 fiscal year.
...in my mind, that all adds up to one thing: the $3 million "no ACC network by 2017" bump is here!
