Virginia Tech is Still Out of the SB Nation FanPulse - but Confidence up with Win

New, 1 comment

The second week of the SB Nation FanPulse without the Hokies, which should be expected, but the good news is that we are seeing a bit more hope in the fan base.

The SB Nation FanPulse Poll is in, and shock of all shocks, Clemson is #1... Then the rest of the top are close to their usual places.

Week 2’s Top 25 doesn’t look too different from Week 1.

I can really argue with Michigan at #1. They couldn’t handle Army. It took the Wolverines 2 panic stricken overtimes after achieving a meager 14 - 14 tie in regulation. Army received some votes in the actual combined poll... (If you will permit... GO ARMY! Now, back to things Hokie.)

With 32 total votes we got some interesting results in the confidence poll. It seams that one victory and quite a few performance improvements seems to have helped Hokie Nation settle down a bit coming in at a much more positive; 53.3% .

We do have some breakdowns of the voting analysis for the poll, and we have added it here for comparison.

Check out and see how close we came. Hopefully at some point in the season we will see if the Hokies bubble up to the mid-20s. This team is 52% Freshmen, and has a long way to go. There were improvements that were encouraging, and some learning needs to be done in others.

No point in giving up the season; since there is so much more football to play.

GO HOKIES!!!!
