The Virginia Tech Hokies Men’s Basketball team is heading into the home stretch of the regular season. Bryan, Jawhar, and John jump into the first Roundball Roundup podcast looking at the disappointing showing in the BC and Miami games.
The news wasn’t good, but it still isn’t a full meltdown. This team is still young and talented, but it’s still really inconsistent when it needs to be. This is a tale of two half games with opposite halves building into two losses instead of just playing a single bad game with one loss. We’ll be seeing Miami and BC again at the Cassell so there is time for a season saving split with both teams.
So take a listen. It’s Game Day, and the 5th Ranked FSU Seminoles are visiting Cassell Coliseum. The tip off is at 4:00 PM it’s a regional sports network broadcast so look in the listings to see if you get the game. The Hokies will need to get their 3 pt percentage back up to the 40-50% range and hit nearly perfect on their freethrows to make this one work. FSU is tall, and beating them inside is going to be difficult.
