Just not enough to get ahead and close the door.

Well, Bryan and John talk about that triple overtime loss. It’s not bad folks. This was expected to be a down season, and the current team has real challenges. They also have real talent, and Mike Young is getting every ounce of effort from a full bench of underclassmen heavy on the Freshman label.

This season is going to be a tough road to get a bid to the NIT. A good showing in both ACC and NIT tournaments would set this team up for a solid 2020/2021 season. As we have seen, basketball is a building and sustaining process. Nearly everyone is brand new, and it’s going to take a bit of patience to get back to where we were last season.

We also talk about the really wonderful job the Women’s Basketball team is doing. It looks very much like the will have a real opportunity for an NCAA bid. That’s exciting.

Hey, for the rest of you football die-hards, 3 weeks until Spring practice starts!

GO HOKIES!!!
