For so many of us, we are spending a lot more time at home. Whether you are working remotely, taking care of kids, learning a new hobby or binge watching a new show - perhaps all of the above - all of Hokie Nation could use a bit more Virginia Tech in their lives.
Luckily, the ACC Network has us covered. In this hiatus that would have been showing spring sports, the network is doing individually themed days for the various schools from the conference. Virginia Tech Day is coming up on April 26th, which is great, because (a) it’s on the weekend and (b) it’s just nine days away.
The press release states, “ACC Network School Takeovers Presented by Bojangles highlights each ACC institution with a full 24 hours of original content, classic games and memorable performances, including select NCAA Championships from baseball, lacrosse, soccer and softball, ACC Championships, bowl games and more.”

The official TV schedule for the 26th has not yet been released, but it is sure to feature several great Hokie victories. Looking at some of the recent school themed days fans can expect a few football games (likely for Tech an ACC Championship?), some big basketball victories (perhaps Michigan State this year or one against Duke recently?), likely single games for sports like soccer and baseball, as well as any Virginia Tech themed programs looking back at the history of the school, key players or the legendary Frank Beamer.
Clear your calendar for next Sunday and settle in (or set the DVR) for a lot of great Virginia Tech sports action.
