One of Virginia Tech’s top targets for the 2021 recruiting class is set to make his choice on Saturday.
After experiencing an incredible life-changing journey over the past 9 months, I’ve decided to make Saturday, July 18 at 7:30 pm ET. my commitment date! ⏳

Donovan McMillon, a four-star safety from Peters Township High in Canonsburg, Pa., announced a top five of Florida, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Oregon and Virginia Tech last month.
Most believe this is a battle between the Gators and the Hokies.
McMillon is an important prospect for this class. As we know, the Hokies have missed out on some priority targets already. Getting McMillon on board would be huge for new defensive coordinator Justin Hamilton. The 6-foot-2, 193-pound McMillon could play early in his college career.
McMillon visited the campuses of both schools this summer. Of course, during those visits he could not interact with the coaching staff, per NCAA rules, but he was able to visit the entire campus and speak to staff members via Zoom or FaceTime.
Will McMillon pick the Hokies?
Well, it is hard to pick Virginia Tech right now in these battles. Until VT starts winning these battles, the optimism will not be there to name the Hokies as favorites.
Remember, former Hokie player and coach, Torrian Gray, is Florida’s secondary coach and McMillon’s primary recruiter.
We’ll keep you posted on McMillon’s announcement on Saturday.
