Now a Virginia Tech Hokie Shows Up on the Maxwell Watch List: Hendon Hooker

So more watch list notices have gone out, and FINALLY someone noticed how good Hendon Hooker actually is. The Maxwell Trophy is an all around award, and being recognized for it means that folks are noticing. GO HOKIES!!!!

Hendon Hooker finally gets noticed by someone significant. The Maxwell Award is awarded to the college football player as determined by a group of sports pundits, and NCAA Coaches and the members of the Maxwell Football Club. It goes to whom they consider the best all-around football player in the US.

Hooker is a serious talent who is one of the primary reasons for the big turn around of the Hokies 2019 season. As a true dual threat Quarterback, Hendon reignited the stumbling Virginia Tech offense, and proved that he was more than ready to run the team on the field.

It’s nice when the good guys get noticed.

Congratulations Hendon! This is well deserved notice. Let’s hope we get a season for you to prove them right.
