It Starts Getting Weirder. NC State Game moved to the first Bye Week: We Open with the Hoos

So the NC State delay in their athletic season practices and preparation has resulted in yet another schedule change. The NC State will be postponed two weeks. Tech opens against UVA. We’ll see about the details, but the Hoos come to Blacksburg for the ultimate revenge game on the 19th of September.

So the Roanoke Times and the Athletic Department have already announced and adjusted the schedule. The NC State pandemic pause has effected their ability to get a team on the field on September 12. The Wolfpack has chosen to postpone until September 26th where the Hokies actually had a bye week scheduled. So we were hoping for football in three weeks, and end up waiting for the Hoos to bring us back our cup.

The Virginia Tech regular season will start out with a rematch against our bitter family feud rivals, the Virginia Cavaliers. Maybe that’s actually a good way to start a potentially great season, with a win and a return of the Cup to the Case in Merriman where it belongs.

Stay connected we’ll be updating as things change - and I think that things are going to be constantly in flux this season.

GO HOKIES!!!
